Camden County Dating 40+ in south Jersey.

Seeing all these South Jersey dating posts from the 20-somethings made me realize… where are the 40+ people at?

Surely I’m not the only one whose ideal date now includes decent conversation, no games, maybe tacos, maybe a Target run, and being home before midnight because lower back pain is undefeated.

South Jersey has to be full of people who still like music too loud in the car, random late night Wawa trips, horror movies, tattoos, sarcasm, and pretending we’re “just browsing” at HomeGoods.

Single, divorced, separated, emotionally exhausted… whatever your status is, how are people over 40 actually meeting anymore around here?

And yes ladies, there are still some normal straight dudes around. We’re just harder to spot now because we blend into brewery crowds and garden centers.

I know you're talking 40+ but I dated in my mid to late 30s before I met my now wife right before COVID and it royally sucked.

For me I would go on dates with women who thought they wanted a companion but I could tell they enjoyed single life too much to commit. Or were looking for prince charming or something. There are good ones out there. It's all a game.

The #1 thing would be to try to find friends who have single friends you may not know. Online dating is a mixed bag.

I want to echo that I've had a similar experience. It almost feels like a bell curve where it's more for fun or casual dating again like in my early to mid 20s.

I get tired of partying like I'm 24 again when I'm 42, but that's kind of what I run into.
