SIB KCD2 or BG3
Hello guys, I want to start playing RPG games and story driven games since ive been onky playing cod and the finals alot. I did play the witcher 3 too and cyberpunk but I want a game where the immersion and gameplay are a big factor.
I know that my choices matter in both games but whats more in depth in your experience?
Thanks.

Two of my absolute favorite games of the past decade! Can't go wrong with either one, if the themes interest you. One is a turn based game in a high fantasy setting, where you can create your own character and pick your sidekicks from a variety of companions. The other is a real time combat game set in a historical setting, with one pre-made main character mostly going solo. Both have a great story and player choices leading to different outcomes.
BG3 can seem a bit overwhelming for anyone without DND experience, since there are a lot of items and skills and different classes you could play. But it's really fun to try stuff out and learn as you go, if you don't let it intimidate you. The two lowest difficulty settings are especially beginner friendly.
KCD has a 'learning by doing' skill system, so you'll get better the more time you're putting into any activity. Many newcomers will complain about early game combat being too hard, and they drop the game instead of practicing and giving the main character (or themselves) the chance to improve. Pick your battles and give him time to grow, it's definitely worth it.
The immersion is on a whole different level with KCD, while the depth of your choices is on a whole different level in BG3
