Pregonta North or South?

Hi!
This will be my third consecutive year visiting Sardinia. During my first two trips, I mainly explored the northern part of the island, so I’ve already visited La Maddalena, Alghero, Castelsardo, and even reached Olbia. Last year I also spent time around Santa Teresa Gallura, Bosa, and explored many of the famous beaches such as Cala Luna. I also did several boat trips to discover the coastline and hidden coves.

This year, I’m considering doing something different and heading south to explore places like Villasimius and the surrounding area. I would love to hear your recommendations and whether you think it’s worth it.

The main goal of my trip is to find the most beautiful turquoise waters and the best spots for snorkeling and diving. I’m especially interested in marine life, underwater scenery, and places where I can experience Sardinia’s sea at its best.

I will have a car with me, so I have complete freedom to move around the island. I’ll be staying for seven days and arriving by ferry in Porto Torres, but I’m flexible and can drive anywhere if it’s worth the trip.

Based on those interests, what areas, beaches, or diving/snorkeling spots would you recommend the most? :)

Torre delle Stelle, the best beach and the cutest village. Indefinitely visit Villasimius. It is a marine protected area, so there’s lots of beautiful fish.
