Mandela Effect

What’s the point of that sub? It’s like no one there believes in it. No one ever gets to talk about Mandela Effects.

I will die on the hill that it was BerenSTEIN Bears. I could read very young, and while my mom was grocery shopping, I’d read from the book stand. It was the 80s in a small town, in a small store, so I was ok being alone while my mom shopped. I remember wondering how to pronounce it. Why do I have that memory if it never was spelled that way?!

That’s my biggest one I just can’t get over. I also remember riding in the car with my mom and asking what does “objects in mirror MAY BE closer than they appear” meant.

I used to be really active here on an old account, and they’d come over here and brigade downvote every new post, and comments. Nothing about that sub is legit. I’d say they’re paid opposition, but they seem to do it for free. I don’t get it. I just hope the people who get disillusioned from that sub eventually find this one.

They’ve tried to take this sub down as well from time to time. Whenever my spidey sense tingles from some trolling nonsense I’ve been vocal; calling them out on it, straight away. I encourage those of you who are apart of this discussion to do the same.

It’s not like our Reddit convos are divine scripture but some of us are here to connect, learn, and discuss this fascinating phenomenon. People will be finding this sub in the future and utilize it for research on the ME and it would be cool if this time capsule could be left unspoiled. The fact that people are intentionally joining a sub just to spin chaos or spread misinformation blows my mind. Call the fuckers out and if it’s a misunderstanding they can respond back and we can apologize later.

One would think that anyone going out of their way to post their Mandela Effect experience on this sub would understand the fundamental mechanics of the theory….for instance if a person pulls their B Bears book collection out of storage and sees the name “Berenstain” this is NOT proof that it’s always been Berenstain. I give this example because this is the exact scenario that you’ll see on here when one of them is trying to plant their bullshit.

This is my post from seven years ago.

My neighbor was super Christian, and I had an over the fence convo with him that left him speechless. I looked up the lion/lamb reference in my childhood Bible, and it had indeed changed to “wolf”. I caught him in his yard (he was in his 70’s), and asked him what the Bible said, and he replied, “lamb”. I showed him, and his face looked like the rug had been ya led out from under him. He mumbled some stuff and then took off inside.

I know what I’ve experienced, nobody will ever talk me out of it. People who come over here to stir chaos have to be some kind of opposition spurred into action by a force we aren’t aware of, it’s the only thing that makes sense to me. Outside of that, I’d have to assume they’re getting paid by some entity, but that seems crazier than some force, strangely.

I grew up very religious. It was mind boggling when I saw that one. There were/are so many pictures and merch of a lion and lamb.
