employed physicist
Those of you who have completed research physics and are currently working, how is it, what exactly do you do, are you satisfied, do you work inside your country (and if yes, which one) or abroad, online, how difficult was it for you to get your current job?

I work in Canada, no online work for the place I'm at. I think I was able to land this job since I'm very good at programming compared to others in my field. I've got an extensive background with computers and understanding how they work allowed me to optimize some algorithms to be thousands of times faster and more precise.
