I’ve been wanting to put this somewhere for a long time! These are all of the cocktail recipes mentioned in the Smirnoff Ice call with Jon Benjamin. There are a few racy ones towards the end…keep in mind this is from 2001. Enjoy!
1. Smirnoff Ice — Straight Up
The classic. No fuss, no mixer. Just ice cold and refreshing.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice, chilled
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove from fridge.
Pop the top.
Pour into a glass or drink straight from the bottle.
Enjoy.
2. Orange Sunrise
Bright, citrusy, and easy to order at any bar.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Orange juice, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add a splash of OJ to taste.
Stir gently and serve.
3. Red Sunrise
A cranberry twist on the sunrise.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Cranberry juice, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add cranberry juice to taste.
Stir and serve.
4. Shackleton Adventure (a.k.a. Smirnoff Ice Dream)
Inspired by the Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton. Crisp, clean, and adventurous. Tied in with the Omnimax film Shackleton's Ice Adventure.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Seltzer water, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Top with a splash of seltzer.
Order at a bar as a "Shackleton Adventure" or "Smirnoff Ice Dream" — any bartender worth their salt will know it.
5. Heatwave
A warm Smirnoff Ice for cold winter nights. Unconventional, but perfect after a freezing commute.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
At home: Pour Smirnoff Ice into a pot, pan, or kettle. Heat over the stove for a couple of minutes until it reaches a gentle boil. Pour into a glass and serve hot.
At a bar: Ask your bartender to microwave it for about one minute (if they have a microwave).
6. Canterberry Tail
A festive holiday drink with an exotic fig twist.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Fig juice (to taste) OR 1 fresh fig OR 1 fig leaf
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add fig juice if available (easier to find in the city), or drop in a fresh fig or fig leaf.
Serve as a holiday treat.
7. Harlem Shuffle
For the coffee lover who also loves a kick.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Brewed coffee, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass.
Add coffee to taste.
Stir and serve over ice.
8. Metal Jacket
Inspired by Stanley Kubrick. Rich and creamy, like a Thai iced coffee.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Sweetened condensed milk, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add a generous pour of sweetened condensed milk.
Stir well — it will be sweet, rich, and creamy.
Best served cold.
9. Decay
A touch of brown sugar transforms the carbonation into something special.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• 1 teaspoon brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass.
Add one teaspoon of brown sugar.
Let it sit for about one minute — it will fizz up slightly.
Stir gently and serve.
10. Ice Cap
A cappuccino-style Smirnoff Ice. Best enjoyed at a bar with an espresso machine.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Frothed milk, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Spoon or pour frothed milk on top.

11. Heatwave Ice Cap
The Heatwave and the Ice Cap, united at last.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Frothed milk, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat Smirnoff Ice as directed in the Heatwave recipe.
Pour into a glass.
Top with frothed milk.
Serve hot.
12. Detente
An olive branch to Absolut Vodka. A big, bold combination for the adventurous drinker.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• 1 shot Absolut Vodka
INSTRUCTIONS
Pop open a Smirnoff Ice.
Pour into a glass over ice.
Add one shot of Absolut Vodka.
Stir and serve. Peace at last.
13. Ice Bomb
Cold meets warm. Refreshing meets bold.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• 1 shot Hennessy Brandy
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add a shot of Hennessy Brandy.
Stir gently and serve.
14. Meltdown
A deceptively simple preparation that transforms Smirnoff Ice entirely. Discovered by a fan and now officially trademarked.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass.
Stir vigorously for approximately two minutes until all carbonation has dissipated and the drink goes completely flat.
The result is a slightly syrupy, smoother liquid — an entirely different drinking experience.
Serve at room temperature or over ice.
15. Ice Cream
A summer showstopper. Order it when you're feeling bold.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a tall glass.
Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Serve immediately with a spoon and a straw.
16. Ice Breaker
Coming soon to bars everywhere — Smirnoff Ice is developing a dedicated crushing machine for this one.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• Crushed ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Fill a glass with crushed ice.
Pour Smirnoff Ice over the crushed ice.
Stir to combine.
Serve immediately.
17. Mexican Jam Session
A fiesta in a glass.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• 1 shot Cuervo Gold Tequila
• Splash of Coca-Cola
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add one shot of Cuervo Gold.
Top with a splash of Coke.
Stir and serve.
18. Jew Fest
Basically a Manhattan, bowled over with Smirnoff Ice. L'chaim.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 bottle Smirnoff Ice
• 1 shot bourbon
• Splash of sweet vermouth
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Smirnoff Ice into a glass over ice.
Add a shot of bourbon.
Add a splash of sweet vermouth.
Stir and serve.
19. The Jew Nose
A half-glass pour. Exactly as described, no notes.
INGREDIENTS
