Looking for Advice Who is your main for DPS and Tank?
I mostly main Moira and have always really loved the gameplay she provides. The mobility, forgiving aim, etc are all really big perks for me.
However, I have yet to find a DPS and tank that I enjoy. This makes it tough completing the challenges for queuing all roles, so I’m wondering what yall might recommend for heroes to try out who have a similar playstyle to Moira.

Looking for Advice How true is it Moira is completely unviable in higher ranks?
I see a lot of people mention that she is completely unviable in higher ranks, but to me, that seems a bit silly. Especially with the changing state of the game where a higher damaging healer is more and more favorable, or so it seems to me.
I've watched a lot of Arx, Kehros, Tesla and Kiwi. To me, it seems less like she is completely unviable in higher ranks, but moreso that you need to be so refined with her to be good in higher ranks, that it is exponentially easier to learn or play another healer.
I just hit plat 1, and stuff is going pretty well. Besides the answer to the title, does anyone have any general tips and tricks that can give that little oomf to my Moira game in higher ranks?
I'm studying a lot of maps right now for fade jumps and good orb spots, and I've been trying to master the reverse orb ability, since it should, in theory be able to give your orbs a good boost in time they stay alive, which is big, and I find the fade jump perk kinda just messes up my timing.
Any input is appreciated

Looking for Advice I was flamed the whole game by my team for picking moira

long story short, the bap and Ashe tried banning moira and it didn't go through, they said she was a 'bad support' and I should play something that requires 'skill' and talked smack on vc.
Then this happened, was 5 seconds off 0 deaths entirely, I don't see how ive played wrong? Like i have had bad games a terrible loss streak lately but then games like this happen
I know I'm doing alright with her, but is there anyway I can improve how I play?
Game code is AF5RZE

Looking for Advice Are there any other games that is similar to Moira gameplay?
I really want to find a game that feels similar to Moira’s gameplay, preferably a single player game where I have to heal my team in a fight? Is there anything out there?

Looking for Advice Tips for a beginner?
I know moira kind of has a stereotype for being an easy character, but every time I play her I am just not good compared to my other supports (Juno, illari, mercy)
I have been learning mercy and improving quickly but I keep going against the most insufferable backline assassins and I think it might finally be time to learn moira. I went up against a level 300 sombra yesterday as mercy- regardless of my movement having improved she wrecked me. I tried swapping to juno and illari (the only other supps I know well) and needless to say I got rolled.

Looking for Advice Replay Advice, I kinda felt overwhelmed and powerless.
This last match I had a Junk just constantly deleting me, spent so much time dead I couldn't heal..
What could I have done differently. I pinged him for help from my team, the entire match he died once. Idk if I should've concentrated on dodging and healing or flank and try to pressure him and genji?

Looking for Advice Why do you guys go DPS?
I'm not complaining, I'm not trying to belittle or ridicule anyone here for the play style, I just want to know why most Moiras that I go against (and play with) would rather attack the other team than heal their own. I had a ranked 5v5 game (Gold 5, for reference) where the other team only had one support, being Moira. The Moira abandons her team countless times to attack the other team, losing their game. Why does this happen? I'm more than sure that if she had stuck with her team and healed them, they would've had a better chance. I'd rather not hear "to charge mist" because she wasn't. She would fade in, toss damage orb and suck, and die most of the time. I'd like to know why this happens with Moira more than any other support I've seen, and how to discourage it. Thank you.
edit: added clarification

Looking for Advice How do I get better at Moira?
Moira was my first character, and she is what got me into this game. Overwatch was my first shooter, and I'm autistic, so I kind of struggle with certain skills. There are other characters I've gotten way better at now, and I can play different characters, but I still have a special place in my heart for her. I've been hard-stuck on a plate for a really long time, and I want to go higher, but I don't know if I want to do that. If it means I have to leave behind my first character, I hear a lot of people say there are other characters with way more value and utility, but I just enjoy her. What do you guys think? I would love to hear y'all's opinions or experiences with her!

Looking for Advice Juno Moira synergy?
A friend of mine is recently starting out and has decided to main Moira while I am a Juno main, is there any synergy to this? Any weakness in this combo? How can I enable Moira gameplay?
So far we’ve been fortunate and won majority of our games

Looking for Advice Going back to core after stadium..
I have been playing the hell out of stadium for a good while and now going back to core ranked has been really weird, anyone else have this issue? I kinda wish blizzard would give Moira a perk so she can fade to reset her healing (similar to stadium) or course obviously put a nerf to it too like maybe instead of all of it reset half? Idk just a thought but yeah it’s tough any tips?

Looking for Advice How to transition out of a healbot and get into diamond
I've come back to this game since basically when the hero level update came out. Before when I played I always considered moira to be my easy swap. The best I ever got was plat 5. Moira was the one I switched to when I was having a hard game because it was easy for me. Kind of like reaper or soldier on DPS, at least on the lower ranks.
Anyway I just got back into the game and started getting some big results with Moira. Ive just placed into plat 3 basically one tricking moira and it's been fun. I like the stats tbf but also fade is just so fun that I'm wondering if I can one trick moira into diamond at least just to a hit a new pr yk?
Anyway I've felt really scared these last few games getting into plat and I noticed I heal bot a lot. I'm still getting high kills like I'll have on average just about if not more than DPS and honestly good damage for moira as well but It feels fake. Back when I played I just DPS moira with healing orb and in unranked and gold it worked. Now I'm not dueling anyone. I right behind my tank and heal bot him while occasionally turn around to heal my DPS and just poke at the opposing tank.
Most of my damage comes from constantly beaming the enemy tank and my kills aren't from duels as I've been reading I'm supposed to do, it's just from beaming random people. The problem is I'm not flanking I'm literally sitting behind my tank all game. I'm scared to use damage orb unless we're absolutely winning the fight. Genuinely I feel like I can't peak or do anything without binge insta beamed. I'm always snapping directions around to heal teammates when they are critical. Sure it's winning games now but it won't eventually. I feel like a mercy healbot because I feel as if the only way we win team fights is when I'm constantly healing
My question is how do I provide value DPS wise and positioning wise that will help my team so I don't have to healbot. In hold especially I feel like as a support if you keep your team up you'll win because people don't really know value yet they just kind of kill whoever in from of them.

Looking for Advice I’m commissioning an artist and need screenshots!
Edit: Closed! Thank you to u/wrexwas!
I don’t have my Xbox right now, can someone send me pics of Moira holding her orbs before she decides which one to cast? It would be from her POV and from another player’s POV.
A front facing screenshot of the Fae, scientist, Blackwatch, and OW2 default would be greatly appreciated too!

Looking for Advice Desperately need a VOD review
The code: 17N4V3
I am enemy Moira, Sheephard. I have a goal to go back to gold under 100 comp hrs, but whenever I hit Silv 1 80-90% progression, I lose smh. I believe this time we lost because of me. My target priorities were bad, I was either too safe or too aggressive and was incredibly tilted in the second round.
And I played second round extremely bad, like 3 completely idiotic deaths I gave enemies for free, too optimistic flanks or that embarrassing fade over the fence.

Yeah, stats look okay, but who cares, when I could play better. Would appreciate any help, this match was confusing.

Looking for Advice What did I do wrong?
Couldn't figure out how to send the screenshot to my phone so sorry for the pic quality. I was playing with this group and we lost one match and I immediately got kicked and saw the host say report Moira. I honestly don't know what I did wrong and when I asked all he said was "are you trolling." Group post said "chill, doesn't matter if we lose"

Looking for Advice Moira issues in comp and stadium
Why is there this inate feeling in everyone i play against that as soon as they see its a mirror match they have something to prove, like bruv just play the game and let others enjoy themselves but why ruin someone's fun by expressly targeting them for playing the same character as you like to the point of griefing them in chat. What's the point when we all love playing moira so much? Honestly my resction whenever i see another moira i get excited to learn and see what i can do better or different but at this point i rather just leave stop playing moira at all than trying to join such a toxic community (not calling the subreddit toxic mostly just the OW2 community cause moira is not the only character with this issue)
