Ive been inactive because of a few reasons one i was dealing with a breakup and some other stuff so sorry imma continue starting today again

Most major setups of this story are being answered:

Rintaro being a misunderstood bully,

The two's love story,

Conflict of the two schools ("in progress"),

Highschool life,

All of these are slowly being completed and we can already sense where they are going.

I would guess that there will be one more arc before/after their big exams and the series will enter a finale that warps up the different characters' plot.

After reading all chapters though I feel like there isn't enough "drama". While being a romcom/slice of life of course you don't expect much drama from it, but the narrative is set in a world that seems to be a "bad place" (bullies in the boy school, hatred from the girl' school, and all different stuff). But we barely see any of those bad things happening directly, except for the earlyish chapters. All of the thriller right now are based on the things that happened in the past and it always turn out to be some sort of misunderstanding and everyone is secretly a good person. It doesn't really make sense that all characters are so angelic deep down yet their relationships seemed to be so uncomfortable. Yes they did explain "there are still some bad students in the school and we cannot lie about that" but again that's just from their words, and not happening in the current story.

Dont get me wrong though i like the manga. Even the latest arc (which i see some of the people said it is not good) i enjoy it too. I just thought maybe a few more actual drama could be more interesting in my very own opinion.

One of my own idea (and i know a lot of people will hate this happening in a romcom) is something happened between Rintaro and Kaoruko. Maybe a fight or something inevitable that is making them seperating, and all the friends try to help them. That makes it important because their relationship is what brought all of them together, including the teachers and school. And personally i think that will make it a plot with some good depth.

Idk though my taste is probably too unique lol but i dont mind where this story is going as long as it ends decently.

I just caught up to the manga and I have to say that I’m a lil disappointed about no saku and Subaru. I basically read everything all in one day so I couldn’t imagine what it was like waiting weekly just to not see any saku and Subaru development for damn near a year. I thought that the kikyo and chidori arc was lackluster to say the least as well. Overall it was damn near perfect just some arcs were long and got boring.
