Manga Manga Spoiler
I just caught up to the manga and I have to say that I’m a lil disappointed about no saku and Subaru. I basically read everything all in one day so I couldn’t imagine what it was like waiting weekly just to not see any saku and Subaru development for damn near a year. I thought that the kikyo and chidori arc was lackluster to say the least as well. Overall it was damn near perfect just some arcs were long and got boring.

I love this manga, but I'm only here for Natsubaru, however I've started to lose hope.

I think just don't expect a lot to happen for now, both have realised their feelings but don't want to force or burden the other with them. We might get to see some study dates but the most likely time for development could be the day of the exam or the result day or if they wanna stretch it then the day of university orientation, till then there could be a another slow buildup for that, as per manga's timeliness it's 3 months to exams now so considering our two characters it's seems less likely that they will have big romantic development in this time, there can be some scenes but a big thing will only happen when exams are over

My tip would be to go to ao3 and read the fanfictions to cope in the meanwhile, there are some really good ones for this side ship

I also feel like I'm going to lose my mind. When I opened the last chapter of the week, I was very optimistic that I would at least see some side conversation between them, or some eye contact. But I started crying when I saw Waguri and Rintaro I've started to really hate the protagonists; I don't know what's so special about them that would make the author disregard the audience's opinion.

This year, Natsubaru fans have been losing their minds (including me).
