Just wanted to get a general discussion and vibe check going about how we feel about 11th theorycrafting.

For me, im always looking to play Fellhammer when I can because its my pet detachment. Benefit of cover giving -1 to hit combined with the detachment rule looks like a bit of a glow up field pur durability in this scenario.

Have also​ been reassessing Abaddon. With BS penalties widespread, his stock seems to have risen with the small caveat that overwatch snap shooting can't be rerolled.

Obliterators meltas can now deepstrike within melta range (if im understanding the rules correctly).

I was able to start my iron warriors by finding a combat patrol, waiting to get heavy upgrade sprue to build the lascannon havocs. I was curious though, with 11th coming out is there any info on if iron warriors are getting removed from CSM and into their own army, and what models we would lose if so?

I don’t want to grab more minis yet due to that possibility with Perturabo coming back.

Im looking for criticism and some tips

There are many Defilers but this one is mine. Moved the head and used a decimator mask. Took the ectoplasma blaster from a Forgefiend and jammed in where the head was. Still waiting on the front armor and the base.

I'd been keen to hear about how people make their cultists seem more thematically Iron Warriors. I don't know loads about the lore but enough to know that the regular chaos cultists could be modified to better fit the Iron Warriors.

Would using parts of the Horus Heresy tech thralls with regular cultists work?

Reworking one of my old Death Guard sorcerers to fit the 4th legion instead; pretty happy with him so far!

Still some colors I haven't worked out or what I want to do for the base but Its growing on me.

So I want to put a power lance onto a veteran breacher sergeant, but am unsure of how to properly put the weapon onto him since it's being held as a two-handed weapon in the melee weapon upgrade kit. Does anyone have any good ideas?
