Annunciation - a little laugh

I know there’s a running joke/discussion about Hoziers lack of enunciation (edit) in some songs, so this was too good to not share with the masses.

My daughter (she’s 5) was singing yesterday and she said “mom, why does he say limmy jimmy?” And I said “I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you mean” and she said “when my time comes around, limmy jimmy in the cold dark earth” 😂😭

Safe to say Work Song will never be listened to the same again.

As an Irishman with a similar accent to his, this is quite funny. We are not known for the clarity of our enunciation lol

I'm proper culchie Irish, living in the UK and the things people mishear me saying are pretty funny 😭

Yeah it's rough out here lmaooo. Me and my friend have started mixing random words as gaeilge into our conversations to see if anyone questions lol

Oh cool! Its a tough language if you have no grounding in it but its also super poetic and fun
