Roof replacement recommendations
Anyone have a recommendation for roof replacement? Have bids from Canyon State and AZ Shingle Pros. Numbers are almost identical but no clue as to which way to go. Thanks…

Right Way Roofing. They use a really cool underlayment that’s basically lifetime. More expensive but worth it

Arizona Roofing Solutions did our home in January and came in a bit lower than some of our other quotes. We were happy with the work.

Advanced roofing, they have a better underlayment system then what you’re gonna find anywhere else there’s a fiber that doesn’t dry up and has a 30 year real warranty that includes labor as well as material.

Check out REAL Roofing. I just got bids from 5 companies and this was my top pick. Comparable pricing to others. Out of the 5 estimates, 2 came back identical.

Call Brown roofing. They gave me the best price by a pretty wide margin and did great work. They also will be honest about fixing vs replacing, while most places will just tell you it needs replaced.

I used German Roofing out of Mesa and they did a great job and very good communication along the way.

We used State 48 Roofing after getting multiple quotes and couldn’t be happier.

When bids are basically identical, I’d look less at the number and more at who you trust to actually run a clean job. Things like communication, how detailed the scope is, warranty terms, and who’s actually doing the install (in-house crew vs subs) end up mattering way more than a small price difference. Ask both who your point of contact is once the job starts and how they handle decking issues if they find rot.
Also worth checking how specific their quotes are. If one breaks out underlayment, ventilation, flashing, and potential wood replacement more clearly, that’s usually a good sign they won’t surprise you later.
For what it’s worth, I’ve worked with eagle ridge pros in Utah on a roof quote before, and what stood out was how straightforward they were about scope and timelines. Even just that experience made it easier for me to compare other bids because I knew what questions to push on.
