Unofficial/fan-made content Memory of Trees articles from '95-96

Cleaning out my closet and in a bin, I found some dollar store photo albums where I pasted articles and comics. And came across these Enya articles I saved.

First one is from the LA Times. Second one was actually written by me when I was 17 haha. A county newspaper (now defunct) had a student section for weekly questions on the street, and media and travel reviews. I submitted several mini reviews during my high school years and of course had to review Memory of Trees!

Simplistic and I could probably write a better version now but I was all excited about it back then to give Enya a more local spotlight LOL!

Thank you so much for sharing these! πŸ₯° πŸ“°β£οΈ There seems to be a variation of that LA Times article here. I prefer this one you've preserved, and how it describes Enya in a much more human way. She's reserved but nevertheless a talented and friendly girl who wants to be there for people. πŸ’—

That's sweet you wrote that second one πŸ’› wish I'd known about Enya's music when I was 17 (and before then). I was barely 13 when Enya last released a new album; would've definitely written about it if I knew. ☺️

Thank you for these articles, it was awesome to read them. And congratulations on being a published journalist at the age of 17! 🧐
