Best Chinese

I've been living here since November and I have tested most of the main Chinese and I have decided that the best Chinese, by a mile is "The Kitchen" on Hill Street

some places were close, but had negatives.

I am glad I have found my Chinese, living in Dublin for years I was spoiled, but now I can finally call this place home.

Portions are huge and they make anything really spicy on request, really class.

Golden Chopsticks are solid. Adelphi is nice but you can’t order online and get it delivered and I’m lazy

Gourmet palace by far. Get the Portuguese sauce instead of curry sauce, absolute game changer.

Coming from a wee town/village, Dundalk was one of the closest big towns to me growing up, and I have lived across Ireland over the past 15 and only moved here for good in the past year or so.

And I must say, Dundalk probably has the highest Chinese restaurants / takeaways per capita in Ireland (and by some distance I reckon, there are loads of them!) and many of them are very good!

For me, I do like Wilton’s and the Kitchen, but haven’t actually tried Gourmet Palace yet, so going by this thread that’s one a trip I’ll have to make soon!

Oriental or Golden Chopsticks for me. All 3 are solid though.

Golden chopstick was only ok, Gourmet Palace was a close one but their satay sauce was scrap, so a major let down
