Crappy Owners Puppy in my pet free apartment complex ran at me and the owner was rude to me
ugh I normally only lurk in this group and view posts but I HAVE to tell this story…
I live in an apartment complex that is pet free, and even has their no pet policy online..
This asshole lady lives in the complex and somehow has an untrained puppy that’s allowed to stay, today her dog ran at me as I was trying to go to the pool and I yelled that I was allergic and was scared… it doesn’t help that I’m autistic, and have sensory issues around loud, dirty shitbeasts… so obviously I yelled and backed away so it didn’t get to me.. and my allergies are real.. I’ve gotten sick because of these shitmutts.. when she finally caught her mutt by the collar, she glared at me and told me to “get a grip”
I called and left a message to report it but I’m afraid of seeing this bitch again… I’m afraid they won’t do anything about it… I fucking hate dogs, dog people, and this entire fucking culture around these fucking useless beasts..

You are 100% right. You live in a pet free apartment complex and that means NO DOGS. What she does is a clear violation of the lease. The dog needs to go. No ifs or mutts.
For you this is a real hazard especially because of your allergies. Do highlight that to the management/landlord. Keep notes of all instances you've seen or heard this mutt. Take photos, video and add them to your complaints. Best of luck! Know that we are on your side.

The owner is probably claiming the shitbeast is an ESA. And of course fake certifications are available. Keep documenting the transgressions, because ESAs (and service animals, I believe) still have to abide by certain standards. Running at you unleashed is not acceptable!

Happens to me all the time in my apt too. People don't leash their dogs, or the leash is so loose/long the dog might as well not be leashed. If I say anything to the owner about their dog, they always get mad. Every time. Sometimes I'll just wear large headphones and loudly tell the owner to control their dog. I'm sure they're getting mad at me but I can't hear what they're saying lol

It is disgraceful what they make the rest of us deal with.
Also, you should definitely file a complaint until something is done.
