Dog Attack 85-year old woman killed by dogs in attack in North Carolina; owner charged with manslaughter

If this has already been posted, then I apologize. I looked through the past 4-5 days of posts, and did not see it, though.

I am glad that the owner is facing charges, but I am so sorry that this woman lived to be 85 years, only to succumb to something totally preventable.

he's sitting in jail without bond

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to two previous incidents involving two different dogs owned by Faulkner, including them leaving his property last December. Faulkner voluntarily surrendered these dogs to the sheriff’s office following a well-being check in February.

The sheriff’s office did not respond to any complaints or incidents involving the three dogs prior to the deadly attack, according to deputies.

so the man gave up two dogs and just got more - something to remember when considering the one-bite laws. I mean, these owners don't care about the dogs - the dog is just a weapon

They really should be treated like dangerous weapons. And only true service dogs should be out and about.
