On which difficulty should you go for the vault? I think it only gets you a decent amount of gold aroun dat t1+ or are you getting gold out of it by getting the legendary gem and play with it afterwards? :)

Normal so it's fast, you don't really care about the gold from the Vault itself, the gem is where it's at. Debo has a nice map where you find the most consistent goblins.

Do you have to get the gem from the vault? Earlier this week, I had it drop for me from a GRift and I've never gone to the Vault.

Aye, I've seen it drop outside though and have never been in a Treasure Realm.

Maybe. I know I got one the other day without having ever done a Treasure Rift. Maybe seasons count as "separate" a la Hardcore :)

I got one on my non seasonal wizard a couple weeks back without ever going into a treasure rift
