I think in the start of series Gosho was actually pretty serious about the whole crime genre stuff and with BO. That's why there were deaths like matsuda and akemi miyano. And even some BO characters. But later on he completely switched and made sure none of the main cast or side cast dies even in worst possible scenarios. Fbi, police, BO none of the characters dies in these. I for sure thought those two snipers from BO would sooner or later die in the series to make it more serious or someone from the FBI.

Hi so i just watched episode 1161 about this officer who is allegedly having an affair so I am a little bit confused because they mention that the fiancé was a police officer who died while serving. I am confused because Conan mentions it has something to do with a previous case in Nagano but I don’t recall watching a case that explains that The last Nagano case I remember is about the body at the border between the two jurisdictions. Am I missing something? Is there an episode that I may have skipped? If yes, could anyone please tell me the episode number? Thanks

Just like title says what would you think if you were in andre Camel place who was not only responsible for blowing his seniors cover in BO but that ultimately led to death of Akemi too. And tbh he isn't really useful in the series as compared to likes of Kazami from PSB.

So apparently I am missing something obvious. I am one of those people who likes to research things myself before asking a question online, so I get frustrated when I do a bad research job. Especially when I feel like the answer should be obvious.

I was first exposed to this show back when they aired it on adult swim. I loved it. Years later I decided to find it online and watch it. I watched all of the English dub until they stopped the dub. Then I switched to sub. It finally got to the point where all that was available was fan-subs. I had no problem with the fan subs until the good ones started running out, and the only options available were very bad subs.

As the anime is still ongoing, I think I'm having trouble understanding just how many episodes are actually officially subbed in English. I already know how many episodes were dubbed. And if they also stopped subbing, then what is the status of fan subs? Is there one or a few particular people who are consistently putting out nice subs? As someone who studied Spanish for many years, I don't like to put down people learning another language, but I still want to be able to actually understand the subtitles in my native language. I feel absolutely ridiculous asking this, because I feel like I should have been able to look this up and find "this show was subtitled up until episode such and such" or something like that. I don't have many regrets in life, but I really wish I had spent the last 25 years learning Japanese.

TLDR: Is the show still being officially subbed in English? If not, who has decent fab subs? Apparently I suck at using search engines now and can't figure this out. Thank you.

Im mainly a manga reader and i don't want to watch the anime because it's like 80% filler but I now I kinda want to watch the anime but I'm planning to skip the fillers.

I'm referring to the end of the episode pre-credits, when Ai tells Conan who her sister is, and Conan remembers "Masami Hirota"'s last words.

In the scene, there's a melodic bass, as well as a more distinct piano playing under the main melody that doesn't seem to be present in the official soundtrack.

Overall it was a fun episode for the crossover about for solving the case plus I love the Homage Eyecatch in every media It was really awesome.

Also the owner museum was disguised Nijee to save the Cinderella Glass Heels to retrieve by magical detective.

I was rewatching the 2024 movie, The Million Dollar Pentagram, and I was shocked to see that in a post credits scene that Kuroba's Dad Toichi is alive AND it confirms a comment made by the Aoyama that Shinichi/Conan and Kaito are cousins through Yusaku and Toichi being brothers. I am wanting to know what this means for the future of Conan and Kaito's relationship and why Toichi dissapeared. Are they going to save it for another future movie? Also, is Toichi working for The Black Organization now???
