Is it just me or did Tom coerce Lynette into sex multiple times in Season 5 even when she was tired or didn't want to?
I don't know that just rubs me the wrong way and how he gets so mad when she fell asleep after she had already said she was tired. Like so what she fell asleep? Just let her sleep and leave her alone what the hell 😭😭
Also I feel like he looks at other woman so much and tries to get attention a lot. It's not like he's just getting one glimpse or something, he's like constantly doing things like this.
Haven't finished S5 btw so please no spoilers!

Was he hiding his relationship with Anabel? If Lynette already knew about it from the get go "What do we tell HR?" was an odd thing to say if he was up front about his other relationship (as he had to deal with that before). And why would he want to bring attention to it or remind her if she did know then anyhow?

Anyone else confused by Bre? I’m not understanding Bre’s thought process of making Orson turn himself into prison when her son Andrew literally did the same thing with Carlos’ mom??? I understand that’s her son but be for real! They’re no different...

Started watching because I lost my job/am pregnant and like background noise while I clean and such. My mom watched as it aired from the first episode, but I remember she stopped watching around season 5 and when I asked about it she said the plot was just getting really ridiculous to maintain her interest (which seemed silly at the time because the show always seemed to be like a soap opera where the main thing that drives the story is drama, not necessarily good/relatable plot points).
Anyway, I’m at the part where Orson and Brie are starting to get along again after the plane crash and Carlos and Gabby hear the Italian family arguing about “not being careful enough” and I’m just like… at a saturation point I guess.
I really did enjoy the beginnings of the series with Mary Alice’s suicide and up until after Katherine’s ex gets his karma. The whole thing with Dave was a bit interesting but then the whole thing with Katherine losing her mind over Mike getting back with Susan just made me mad. Not to mention Tom never seeing even a little bit of character development the entire series it feels like. At first I felt bad for Lynette now I’m like, girl. You really chose this life and that man. I wouldn’t have trusted him to get the vasectomy, I would have insisted on going with for the procedure and the follow up appointments given his inability to put her needs above his own when it comes to sex.
Now whenever they come on the screen I almost audibly groan.
Really wanted to finish the series but I think I’m seriously going to need to take a break to build my tolerance for how frustrating/unreasonable some of the characters are.
Also I don’t think my opinion is like the end all be all or that no one should like the show. Mostly I’m just sad because now I need a filler show while I cool down from being frustrated about this one 😭 wanted to vent

This is a 5.30 long compilation of Felicity's scenes from the ABC Afterschool Special Home Run For Love in 1978. This was her very first role, and she was only about 15 years old. (I swear her voice hasn't changed for nearly 40 years!)

For context, I'm on season 1 but I've seen clips of the show here and there
Lynette treated Annabel like dogsh*t because she thought her husband would cheat on her with Annabel, despite the fact that Lynette STOLE TOM from her.
Susan I really wanted to like, but she is the nosiest person ever. I understanding wanting to know the truth, but I'm not sure why she is taking it upon herself to figure out everything about Mike's past and going around him when he GAVE HER A LETTER with it all. She broke into Paul's house and needs to take a step back. Also, her hyper-reliance on Julie is just embarrassing. It's okay to need people to talk to but talk to your friends or get a therapist. It is not your teenager's job to be your emotional support.

Why did carlos call zach “seabiscuit” after zach had proposed to gabby in season 3? I dont understand the joke/reference.

She's not, I already checked. It was Theresa Pruette. Huge missed opportunity...

When Carlos cheated. She was becoming unbearable and deserved a lick back, even better that it was someone that worked for them like John worked for them and her.

Currently watching DH for the first time in probably over a decade and I just have to rant about one thing haha.
The storyline where Orson is in a wheelchair and he's mad af at Bree for her "affair" pisses me off so badly. Because like.. you blackmailed her into staying married to you, threatening her with JAIL no less, and she said REPEATEDLY said she wanted a divorce. You wouldn't give her one, so you forced her to stay married to you or go to jail and so THEN she started seeing someone else. As far as I'm concerned, that's not an affair. She dumped you and you couldn't accept it. It's frustrating me so much that she's feeling guilty about this when Orson was being such a psycho and wouldn't just free her from the marriage 😮💨
All the other cheating in the show is definitely cheating, but this one just doesn't feel the same to me.
Also, I actually loved Orson for Bree and hate that they ruin him😭

I know a lot of people hate Tom, but what are your main reasons for it?

I'm only on season 3 episode 1 (first time watcher), but I really really really wanna turn off the show because of her. The actor does a really good job because I just despise her (the character, not the actor). I hate spoilers but I had to search up what happens to her because I just want her gone. At least I know she won't be here for long.
(Also I didn't know if I should add the spoiler tag, but I did say she wouldn't be here for long so...)

I've seen alot of complaints about this particular storyline. I'd say the main problem with it is that it focuses almost exclusively on Gaby and her attachment to her biological daughter, but barely on anybody else.
This kind of storyline is something you could frame an entire show on. It's very multi-faceted with tons of players involved. Here it makes up one half of a season on a show with four main leads and numerous supporting characters. There just isn't enough time given to flesh out the experiences of everyone involved, the most eregious example being Juanita's.
She learns her parents aren't really her parents and it's never dwelled on. She has her initial reaction and some offscreen therapy sessions. We never really see her pain. They're just used as a means to force Gaby to let go of Grace. Gaby's feelings are the only thing of matter here.
People critcize Carlos for pushing Gaby's to abandon Grace's memory and being insensitive. The thing is he's acting on his protectiveness for Juanita. Because her plight isn't the focus, it's harder to see things from Carlos' POV. He's not unsympathesizable. His feelings are just not focused on.
Gaby's pseudo-grieving period for Grace eventually becomes a segway for her dealing with her rape at the hands of her step-father which leads up to season 8's ongoing storyline.
At this point, the swapped at birth storyline becomes a total non-factor. In one episode Gaby and Juanita are casually watching a horror movie together and it struck how weird it is to see these two are chilling together. There's no reconcilliation scene between them. They're just up to their usual shennanigans like it never happened.
Really my biggest disappointment with this story is how inconsequential it is. It's a huge complex issue that ends up only setting up another unrelated storyline. They could have done so much more with it.

I was going to put as the title when did their marriage start to fall apart but then I realized it is a spoiler lol. When did their marriage start to fall apart?
I'm rewatching it when they remodel Tom's office and she calls him out on it that it's not him and it just seemed like the start of the downfall.
The thing that I believe was the nail in the coffin was the vacation one. Like Lynette just let it go. You know how many of us would kill for a first class trip to hawaii lol. Like my girl you printed out poster boards. It's rare that a teenager wants to be in a rv to drive cross country. And you made your kids think they were gonna get attacked by sharks like stopp.
Tom has the big shot job that she pretty much made him take and he just wants to be a big shot with the family for once. And not be the loser he always is who had to have his underage children work his pizza parlor. Or who wanted to go back to school just to fail at it.
And because of this he moves on so quickly and takes this woman to Paris!
I get it she's used to being super frugal but he had a 100k sign on bonus which means his salary was probably at least 500k.

...it was her child 💀
