Checks out at least, Shenhe x Yelan got popular even though the two canonically have never interacted even once, not even a passing comment on each other.

Shippers will straight up invent reasons to ship two characters, even if they absolutely hate each other's guts or don't know about each other's existence in canon.

well its fun! i've acted like a parrot in these replies but i will say again that shipping is a fun way to explore the writing of a character harmlessly through interaction and dynamics and hypotheticals.

Yes, but with some ships, it's that problem, they didnt talk with each other, Shenhe x Yelan is a great example of it
