• Join us for an adventurous day at the Charlotte Whitewater Center. Lots of options to fit anyone's ideal adventure plan. 
  • You can buy individual activity passes for only the activities you want to do. 
  •  You can buy an annual pass for all activities for the next 12 months!
  •  OR - it is free to walk around - just pay for parking. 
• There are many food and beverage options on-site. If you haven’t been, there are a bunch of options for activities – yoga, ziplining, ropes courses, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking, SUPs, trail walks, biking, etc…
• We plan to arrive at 10:30, but we can coordinate meeting up with people throughout the day. You can stay as late as you want, or leave and come back later. There appears to be live music starting at 7 PM, too!

Hey everyone 👋

Recently moved back to the Charlotte area after being away for a bit, planning to move somewhere around Cornelius for work, and figured I’d finally say what’s up. I’m Jason, 32, originally from Kannapolis and excited to plug back into the city and meet some good people.

I work as a design engineer/production manager and have done a mix of mechanical and architectural design work. Outside of work I’m into hiking, the gym, staying active, ping pong, football (Go Birds 🦅), self-growth, finances and real estate, travel/exploring new areas, and living a generally healthy, holistic lifestyle without being extreme about it.

I’m also very food motivated. Big fan of whiskey and BBQ, and honestly just about any good food. Always down to try new spots, trade recommendations, or cook something solid.

Mainly looking to meet people around my age with similar interests. Guys and girls both welcome. If a great friendship comes out of it, that’s awesome, and if something even better than that happens down the road, no complaints either.

-Tianyu Lights festival in Concord (4/18 - 6/22)

-Grilled cheese festival (4/19)

-Charlotte Wine & Food Week (4/22 - 4/27)

-BOOM Charlotte (4/25 - 4/27) looks like an arts festival similar to Shout

-Tuck Fest at White Water Center (4/25 - 4/27)

-Carolina Clay Matters Spring Pottery Festival (5/10)

-2025 Japan Fest (5/17 - 5/18)

-Beer Bourbon & BBQ Festival (5/17)

-Charlotte Dragon Boat & Asian Festival (5/17) highly recommend going to a dragon boat festival!!

This Sunday (4/13) at 7PM we will be heading to KPot in Pineville for some Korean bbq! Bring an empty belly and join us for an all you can eat feast 😋 Edit: they don’t take reservations, let us know if you plan on joining before 2pm so I can try and have an idea of how many tables to get

We failed to mention previously that we all have a refined palate, and an undying love of cheese-oriented events. That being said, we are obviously going to the Grilled Cheese Festival on April 19th!
