Meet up plans/ideas July 4th Weekend Activities

Hey friends! I am coming to charlotte July 4th weekend! I will be staying in Greenville but happy to travel for exciting activities. Country concerts, festivals, outdoor activities! What fun things are there to do around? I would love to see a country concert but didn’t see any on the books. Tubing down the river is fun. But looking for social activities too.

Unfortunately Charlotte tends to be a bit dead on July 4th as most people head to the beach or lake. We do have an event in Uptown that has fireworks but it can be a bit of a fiasco and don’t think it’d be worth the drive from Greenville

Tubing down the Catawba River is always a fun option however!

Any beach or lake activities nearby that I could day trip to? I’d much rather be on the water

Lake Norman might have fireworks or an event going on! They have a couple public “beaches” for the general public. There is also boat rentals
