any hip hop scenes

i wanna get into the local hip hop scene of az, but i don’t know where or if theres any place here that has hip hop artists, beat makers and rappers. anywhere in the county is cool (chandler, phx, mesa etc.) if tucson and flagstaff have any, id like to hear more about them too thank you

Starting following the hip hop store “Trill” on instagram it’s in Phoenix they put on events weekly .. just look it up it’s a great place to start .. ton of cool things at the store .. they always have DJ nights an local an national acts come thru all the time

Definitely not Chandler or the east valley in general. I feel like the only place you are gonna find a community is in Phoenix. Hip hop just isn't huge here (or at least it feels pretty invisible). Country music, rock/metal, and latin music have always seemed to dominate IMO.
