Request ❗ Private rooms for tabletop gaming. Would that interest you?
Hi everyone!
So great to see BristolDND making a resurgence.
I’m currently exploring the idea of opening a tabletop gaming space in Bristol and wanted to get some feedback from the local community.
The focus would be on things like private rooms, flexible booking, and a more comfortable/immersive setup - particularly for games like D&D, Warhammer, Magic: The Gathering, and other tabletop systems.
Before going any further, I want to understand what people actually want (or if there’s even demand for it).
I’ve put together a really quick survey (2–3 minutes):

Would massively appreciate any responses. It’ll genuinely help shape whether this becomes a reality or not.
If you know anyone else who plays tabletop games locally, feel free to pass this on, the more input the better. Thanks in advance!

This sounds great, I'd love to see it happen.
The first thing I'd suggest is reaching out to the current collection of Bristol gaming cafés, spaces and similar businesses such as Hoard Dungeons to see how they function and if they're doing well. We've seen some similar businesses, such as The Mana House, disappear and their advice may be even more valuable.
Also, get in touch with groups that could bring your most regular and reliable audiences. (e.g. North Street Games, Wonky Line Cult, etc.) Some of these groups use use pubs and venues for free, so you'd really have to offer something of value to win them, or people like them, over. I imagine getting their opinions would be great litmus test for starting.
