So Twitch doesn't ban people like Hasan who fucking ELECTROCUTED HIS DOG ON STREAM FOR MOVING doesn't ban asmongold who makes pathetic comments on others people ethnicities just because of their ethnicity, A WOMAN GAVE FUCKING BIRTH ON STREAM AND THE CEO EVEN CONGRATULATED HER ON CHAT LIKE WHAT THE FUCK and they (basically perma) ban someone who made a wrong and disrespectful shit-comment on the heat of the situation which I believe should have been banned for at most a week but no - they don't do that. The Precedent He Set (The Dressel Ban)

The most famous example of Bo cleaning house was when he permanently banned a core group member named Dressel.

• Dressel was kicked out of the group and completely erased from the channel after it was revealed he was pushing alt-right, racist, and neo-Nazi rhetoric.
• He had actively downplayed Nazi atrocities, cited Holocaust-denying historians like David Irving, and compared Dutch resistance fighters to terrorists.
• Bo and the community rightly banned him because they didn't want the channel associated with the normalization of genocidal ideas or hate speech.

The ultimate irony is that Bo used the exact same fundamental logic that he banned Dressel for.

• When Dressel normalized Nazi rhetoric, Bo kicked him out to protect the community.
• When Bo turned around and publicly advocated for the nuclear eradication of Moscow and the Soviet populace, he crossed the exact same red line into promoting mass atrocities and ultra-nationalist hate speech.

When other members of his Discord or stream group stepped over the line into edgy, fascist, or hateful territory, Bo's administration moved quickly with bans to keep the brand corporate-friendly and safe. But when it was his own political triggers and personal biases being pushed, he completely ignored his own rules. He assumed that because his hatred was directed toward Russia, it would somehow be seen as acceptable geopolitical "history bro" banter.

The community's response has been clear: You cannot spend years claiming you are running a clean, anti-extremist gaming group, only to drop the mask and spew genocidal rhetoric the second you get angry.

Was super drunk the other night and was pissed no was banned and sent a page of text to twitch telling them how I’m boycotting their platform (don’t even use twitch). Did not expect to get a response 😭

Way worse stuff has been said on stream than what Bo said. It was clearly not a serious comment anymore than other shitposts said on the channel.
