Comic What's your favorite moment in the Manhwa?
This one is mine

Recently, as more and more people read the weekly chapters of The Beginning After the End, we have seen many people pointing out major spoilers to events that have not occurred yet in the comics. I originally created this subreddit as a safe haven for those who wish to only read the comics, and it is things like these that ruin the experience for many. Initially, spoilers were few and far between and was not much of an issue. However, with things going on as they are now, we will ban anyone who gives out any level of spoilers, whether it be a small detail or a major plot point. It will start off as a temporary ban, but if any rule is violated by the same person again, it will turn into a permanent ban. If you want to discuss anything about the novel, go to r/tbatenovel, otherwise DO NOT post, comment, or even mention anything related to the novel here. Happy reading!

I just watched the 1st and 2nd season (upto 7ep of s2) of "The Beginning After The End", and I must say that, they have improved the season 2; not as much as it should've. There are still some "*still-frames*", you can kinda see that there were tries to make motion more fluid, and it is fluid enough, and lacks uniformity of that fluidness (throughout scenes and epsidoes, like some scenes and episodes are more fluid than others).
Even, though I completely agree with the reviews of season 1, but **I** **think** **season 2 is very beautiful and cinematic .**
I think, if you don't ever read the reviews, or read the manga beforehand, you won't even notice the problem everyone has.
I get that the story of *that* level deserves very high quality animation, but as of now I have absolutely no problem with the series. I'm fine with a few less frames here and there, and I'd rather have anime adaptation of that beautifully written story than just read manga.
What do you think about that?

I've done professional level dubbing about 10 years ago, but even the original Japanese dub in this anime has animation errors where people they animate people talking but have no dialog lines.
That's next level lazy incompetence. Because it's difficult enough to animate people speaking, it takes extra time and effort. But to just paste in talking animations which aren't even always repeating animation meaning they took the time to animate it, and not caring to or forgetting to remove them.... or even just improve some dialog for those scenes so you dont have characters talking without dialog, idk man, that's just not something that happens.
Especially when it's the original dub. Like genuinely what the fuck? this isn't some English dub issue where they fucked up. This is the Japanese dub, and the studio, fucking this up that badly. Like where the fuck is the oversight?
I still enjoy this as a seasonal isekai slop. But even for the isekai seasonal slop this animation/audio work is so noticeable I watched the past 3 episodes and saw at least 8 animation errors. Actual errors not just shit direction or use of cgi, or obviously not animating a sequence fully to cut corners.
Sorry about the rant but I'm genuinely over here flabbergasted because I know how professional dubbing is, and how much time and effort even small animation sequences are. This shit is butchered so bad it almost feels malicious.

New watcher here, just finished season 2 and did some googling. Can we expect Arthur & Jasmine to get a decent bit of screen time together in the coming seasons? Everything I’ve read up on is saying no. But yk how google be can be well, google. So I just figured I’d make a quick little post here asking said question. Thank you!

Currently on chapter 234 and I don't know if I should wait or suck it up and read the light novel.

So I'm just watching the anime now, quite enjoying it so far but I have to ask - When does Arthur get his mask? It's shown up in the end credits so much I expected it to be a big plot beat but he just suddenly has it when going out to be an adventurer??? Did I just miss something or did the show just kinda forget to show us him getting it?

In 2026 we have a "Quality production" anime series releasing a 22 minute 50 second run time episode? With the credits rolling and counting for part of that, it's even worse. The boiling point of this week's episode barely reaches a pivotal moment before it was over.
How are they massacring this so poorly?

Help! The last time I read it, the protagonist was in training and returned just as the elf princess was about to enter the war, and she found him sitting on top of the monsters he had killed. Where did I leave off, and how far has avanced?
