Discussion Question about body armour

I have some questions about body armour in the game. I have played lots of vanilla, currently I am playing a ReforgedZ server which is “DayZ” like experience. Enjoying it very much.

There are modded body armour platecarriers in this server but the one I was wearing is a Vanilla Russian 6B3 heavy vest.

I was in a standoff with another player and he quite clearly hit me with a shot, but I lost no health and wasn’t injured and managed to kill him with a return shot.

Just sounds like net code not much we can do about it

I’m not actually complaining about anything here I am asking if the vest will take more shots later like mine did in the video or if it’s done after taking one (or two) hits

It will take the same amount of shots it just depends on the health bar in this game if you're on 100 health it might take 2-3 shots anything less than 50 health you're getting 1 shot unless ots the legs being hit.

I think you have the same health as in vanilla conflict the only difference is that you are being showed the stat in this server. I took a hit from what seemed like a sniper just like mine but it totally sponged it which was nice I just hope this same plate will save me again in future
