PS5 with mods is unplayable

Keep getting this error when trying to load into any game with mods on PS5. Newest update has broken it for me. Any fixes. I want to play with mods.

my friend is also on ps5 and can play modded servers just fine.

Delete all mods and redownload them.

The update broke a lot of mods, you might just have to try process of elimination to figure out which ones are broken. If you can send a screenshot of the mods you have installed I might be able to help.

Playing on ps5 with mods rn with no issue? What mod are you trying to use? Is it one you've downloaded from the workshop or that's needed for a particular server?

Thanks it may be this. It doesn’t seem to like the project redline mods. It used to work but since the update no luck

I play on modded servers all the time on PS5.

What server are you trying to play on?

If it isn't a well known server (WCS, OGR,Spearhead, etc...), they probably haven't updated their mods yet.

Delete ALL of your mods. EVERYTHING. Then start the server and wait for the mods to download. If the issue is still happening after you download the mods, it's a problem with the server you play on and you need to find a new server until they sort out their issues.

Just looking to get into the game. Owned it for some time but haven't given it a real good go. Can you recommend any servers for new players on PS5?

For newer players, I'd recommend a Vanilla+ server to learn the game mechanics. Warpigs is a good "lightly modded" server that is mostly just the base game with some tweaks. (Good for beginners to learn about the mechanics of the game while still seeing a lot of action).

For modded servers, try WCS, Spearhead, or OGR. All the servers have different rules, settings (make sure to check for NAMETAG DISTANCE settings on some servers!), and mod packs. These are generally less "new player friendly" so it might be good to have the basics down before jumping into heavily modded servers and accidentally teamkilling everyone out of confusion.

you can play a lot of games on both consoles with mouse and keyboard. and controller is great for driving and flying, so I don't understand your point.

True. For full efficiency it’s required to have controller, K&M, HOTAS and steering wheel otherwise you’ll be lacking space for keybinds. Also PS5 and Xbox players can use K&M so that’s nice
