Advice Wanted newborn keeps having leaks

with most diapers i’ve tried he keeps having leaks from the top when the rest of the diaper is dry. for reference, these are huggies snug and dry, but it’s with multiple different ones that worked for my first son.

for my baby shower i asked solely for rascals because those worked for my first son the best and now i have so many boxes that i cant use because they leak like this.

for reference the only diapers that didnt leak were luvs and parents choice surprisingly. all huggies brand do this and rascals/millie moon

unfortunately we have:( he’s 2 months into a size two now.

Maybe time for size 3 then? I usually ignore the weight limits.

i will definitely try this. we did just size up to 2 after having leaks with 1’s a few days ago. i will say they seems to fit well. not snug at all.

We just sized up to size 3 because every. Single. Poop. Was a massive blowout. She is still a pound shy of the upper weight limit for size 1 😂

Same with my first. He looked like a clown in such a large diaper, but it stopped the leaks!
