Advice Wanted newborn keeps having leaks

with most diapers i’ve tried he keeps having leaks from the top when the rest of the diaper is dry. for reference, these are huggies snug and dry, but it’s with multiple different ones that worked for my first son.

for my baby shower i asked solely for rascals because those worked for my first son the best and now i have so many boxes that i cant use because they leak like this.

for reference the only diapers that didnt leak were luvs and parents choice surprisingly. all huggies brand do this and rascals/millie moon

Have you tried pampers?

My first did horribly with huggies, only pampers worked. He would leak everytime I used huggies on him. With my second, I tried pampers first since this what worked with my first and it was the complete opposite! Both are boys!

the pampers do work, but he has crazy sensitive skin and they gave him a rash sadly. we just switched to huggies because they’re fragrance free but they just seem to not fit his body well

I’ve heard little rascals from Walmart are a good brand for babies with sensitive skin. Pampers also has a “pure” version. Not sure if it’d be much different though.
