Huang Po: Motionless Mind

Not til your thoughts cease their branching here and there, not till you abandon all thoughts of seeking for something, not till your mind is motionless as wood or stone, will you be on the right road to the Gate.

Thirdhand authority is problematic without firsthand experience.

Alright, alright... you've worn me down. To answer this; yes, we need firsthand experience in order to become authoritative on a subject. I have many years of experience in both the practice and study of Zen, therefore I can speak clearly on the matter at hand.

Anything else? Also, if I was really protecting my ego, I wouldn't post here as often or try as much to be a prominent member of the community, because this place has the tendency to knock the shit right out of you. XD

Worn you down? Well at least you didn't submit to my logic.

But really, bye. People like you can't have conversations.
