Cool RGB lights up, cool?
The lighting completely changes the look here. The metal keycaps have a clean shine-through glow that makes the whole thing feel oddly satisfying to watch. It’s one of those details that seems simple until the RGB comes on and everything clicks.

What's the point here? LED keyboards are not a new invention, they're a dime a dozen these days and most have a thousand options for colors and patterns.
We're not making artisan keycaps here.
In terms of color, it's cool i guess. Why do you need validation from others? Especially on this sub?

Appreciate you stopping by to drop your take! Fair call on basic RGB boards being a dime a dozen, most of those ship with that flimsy, oily-fading plastic keycap that scratches if you so much as glance at it wrong, we’re just building the durable, premium metal upgrade to that.
You’re spot on that shine-through on full metal is way harder than it looks!! Metal blocks light like crazy, and the machining tolerances have to be dead on to get that glow right without weird bleed, even if the end result looks simple. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, just make the version that doesn’t fall apart afte months of heavy use, and feels way better to type on. And it's kinda woow right? If you’ve got tweaks or ideas to make the set better, we’d love to hear ‘em. IC form is linked if you wanna drop your input!

I always disable the RGB. Because most of the premium brands like Epomaker, Wobkey, Nuphy have non shine through key caps.

Superr fair. These caps are built specifically for that RGB+metal combo: clean enough to look great unlit, but engineered so the light actually enhances the legend shape and color when you flip it on. If you ever wanna give RGB another shot with a set that’s made for it, fill out the IC form linked in the post. We'll make sure you’re first in line for both lit and unlit setups! 😉

I don't like the static glowing pee color or the generic keys.
I like fancy gilded typewriter looking keys and pulsing rainbow lights.

LMAO "glowing pee color" that one’s going in the vault 😂 But for real, we totally get the vibe you’re after.. This sample set is intentionally built clean and modern thin, precision cut legends optimized for crisp shine-through and even light diffusion, not ornate detailing. That said, if the community wants a vintage-gilded-with-chaos-RGB edition, we’re 100% here for it~~~ If that’s your dream combo, drop it in the IC form linked in the post so we can track how many people are asking for something bold and fancy. Who knows future runs might get wilder!

I'd buy a keyboard that had the round ivory colored typewriter keys with gold colored key trim and cyan lights for a royal look.
And one that has black round typewriter keyboard keys with gold trim and RGB rainbow lights for a neon gaming pc look.
And one with wood colored keys with gold trim and cyan or green lights for an old grand library look.
And one thats got copper colored keys with gold trim and redish orange lights for a steampunk look.
RK ROYAL KLUDGE S108 RGB Typewriter Keyboard is a good template to look at for this.

Now make it ten keyless, ergonomic, and wireless and you will literally have the only product on the market. I cant find a single keyboard with those features and with actual lit up keycaps.

Normally, I'm not a fan of RGB lights, but this looks very good. The color of the lights really goes well with the key caps.
