Photo Bleak Brecon

Brecon just as bleak as it was when I was there in the army, have a new found appreciation for it though. ☺️

Slog of a hike with blisters on blisters, but found this gorgeous spot overlooking a glacial lake.

No sunset or sunrise due to clag but still stunning views and sat and watched some wild horses playing…epic! ❤️

If anyone else was in Brecon and near the lakes I may have gotten a few shots/videos of you, message me and I’ll ping over. 🤘

Ha ha appreciate it. Taking an awful lot not to let my spicy brain win and delete to repost! 🤦🏻‍♂️😬

Felt like I was when the clag came in too but pretty in its own bleak way. 🙂

Those wild horse sightings alone would make the blister pain worth it. Awesome shots!

Shame I can’t post the video here, but I was sat chilling by a waterfall watching them! Felt very privileged.❤️

+1 for the burger, can't even imagine how good that must have tasted in that location

Washed down with a couple of cold Damm Lemons…I packed 2 cooling blocks so meat didn’t go bad and beers cold.😂 Probably had near 4kg in beer, water, food and stuff to keep cool.😬

What tent is that?

TFS Saga mate and HIGHLY recommend it! If you want to know anything specific let me know. 🙂

Wind picked up and started hammering with rain in the early hours but tent was solid. 🙂

Ah! Close (ish) but no banana 👍

That’s not Fan Fawr.

It’s a great spot though. Earlier this year I experienced the strongest wind I’ve ever felt in this country down at the lake, proper down on all fours trying to walk.

That lake is Fan Fawr bud. I don’t tend to give out exact spots but it’s easy to find going off what I’ve said and the pics. The wind picked up in the early hours and I was a wee bit nervous being near the edge. 😬

Was me dinner…probably should’ve ordered my photos better. Burgers for breakfast is a shout for next time though. 😃
