Coping?
Hey all, I just found this sub and have been reading through a few things. Two months ago in a very sudden accident the world changed in ways that I never could have anticipated when my wife died. It was very public and the attention can be overwhelming and frustrating. Most days I feel like I'm on autopilot and not really sure what's going on. I'm taking care of the kids, dogs, house and that's been my best way to cope so far but cope may not even be the correct word (distraction maybe?) What do you all do in down time when things are quiet? How do you manage the waves of grief and deal with this level of loss? My wife and I worked together as well, she is my best friend and we were at each other's side for everything. How do you get the motivation to do things for yourself?

I wish I knew. I'm getting back into playing music, but it's pretty half hearted. Most days I cruise through on momentum.
