My body looks different even after losing weight

Im 28F, 5’6ā€. About 9 months postpartum. Ive lost most of the baby weight, but my body just looks different now. My stomach feels softer, my hips are wider, and even my clothes dont fit the same way. The number on the scale is close to before, but I dont feel like myself. Did your body eventually go back to how it was, or is this just the new normal?

I could have written this post. I’m 15 months postpartum 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight and my body is completely different. My calves are even retaining fluid now!

Your body is not going to be the same. Your body night change more and feel more similar to before but you grew a human and your body adapted. Some traces of the one that you carried and grew will always remain.
