Information Have you tried any of these?
Hi, I was wondering if you've tried any of these new methods for combating vulvodynia and pelvic floor dysfunction:
Milli Expanding Vaginal Dilator

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA): Supplement with anti-inflammatory and neuromodulatory properties. A 2025 study showed a decrease in pelvic pain and improved sexual intercourse when combined with antioxidants (transpolydatin).Vaginal fractional CO₂ laser therapy

I tried PEA for 2/3 weeks I think but gave up too fast haha I have an appointment in June with a new OBGYN who does mona lisa touch co2 laser treatments and I asked her if she could check if I would be a good match for it

Vaginal dilators yes, this expanding one no. I can see the rationale behind it but the regular ones do the job, too.
PEA is in many of the supplements I’ve tried. Not sure how helpful. I also used it topically in a cream once but did not have any special result (maybe I was not consistent enough).
Laser therapy I haven’t tried.

Is the topical cream with PEA OTC? Do you remember the name of it? Thanks!

Did you end up trying any of these? I would love to hear what you tried and what worked for you. I have heard of Milli and PEA but never laser therapy so that is interesting and I am curious to hear more about it.

I’ve looked into a few of these approaches too and it really seems like results vary a lot depending on the underlying cause of pain. Dilators and pelvic floor work tend to help more when muscle tension is a big factor while things like supplements or laser therapy are more case-specific and still being studied. Alongside any of these, I’ve personally found that keeping external skin calm and supported with very gentle, fragrance free products like BUNI Rejuvenate can make daily discomfort easier to manage without adding irritation
