Is this worth collecting and how are kives supposed to be displayed?

I agree that it not for Swiss Army Knives. Not sure if for kitchen knives or something else.

If you like it, and the price is right, you can probably make it work for Swiss Army Knives.

I’m attaching a photo of three I have currently.

From L-R: • Square. Two panels for display, and storage space inside. Glass doors. • Triangle. Three panels for display, no storage. Plastic doors. •

Flat. Two panels for display, no storage. Plastic doors.

For all of them, the SAKs are held with neodymium magnets to a steel back plate. All have locks on the plastic or glass “doors”. All rotate so a customer could see all sides.

Different kinds show up on eBay and FB marketplace. Some people want stupid money for them. I’ve paid a good amount for the ones I have, but not nearly the $800-$1,500 and up people ask for them.

There are some that the SAKs were attached with double-stick foam tape. Not my preference. And there are a few that are sealed, and the SAKs permanently attached inside.

Yeah, the one from the image is 20$. Those others are too expensive for me. I would love one of those big folding knives. Thank you very much for the great information!
