u/Inky006 Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 02 '26
I dont know about the car dealership's ideology but the flags are there is the members of Turkic States Organization. Hungary, TRNC and Turkmenistan are observer countries. Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are full members. Also the flag in the middle is the official flag of the Turkic States Organization.

What's " an observer country " ?
2
u/Inky006 Apr 03 '26
In an international organization, (in our case it's the Organization of Turkic States) an observer state is a non-member country who were granted the privilege to participate in the events/activities of the organization without the voting rights.

u/Fatalaros Apr 06 '26
Even though the TRNC is an observer state participant, none of the Turkic countries (bar Turkey) recognise it as a country.
1
u/Inky006 Apr 06 '26
Yeah ik, they even recognised them as "turkish occupied zone of cyprus" last year. Just for 12 billion dollars or euros from EU xd.

u/Stamaths7 Apr 03 '26
Trnc isn’t and it’s not a real state
7
u/Inky006 Apr 03 '26
Nope, trnc is an observer state of Turkic States Organization and is a de facto state. Even though not being recognized internationally, TRNC citizens can easily obtain republic of Turkey citizenship and passport. I don't know what's your point but if not for 1974 peace operation of cyprus and TRNC, there would be more and worse bloody christmases. Pointless nationalism and trying to ragebait a commenter who is just trying to inform people about a photo won't help either.

tuva and yakutia forgotten :(
37
u/Zealousideal_Cry_460 Apr 02 '26
Pretty sure its only nations that are affiliated with the Turkic council.
Not all Turkic states, which would be way too large to paint all windows
So dont worry they're not forgotten :)

u/Prestigious-Sell1957 Apr 03 '26
where do you think the "Hun" comes from?
-1
u/9307911 Apr 03 '26
Hungarian is a Uralic language
2
u/Prestigious-Sell1957 Apr 03 '26
didn't answer my question. where does the Hun from Hungary come from? look it up and tell me the answer

u/9307911 Apr 03 '26
Google AI:
Origins and Migration
- Central Asian Roots: They originated in Central Asia/Mongolia, with studies tracing them back to the Xiongnu (Asian Huns), a powerful nomadic empire.
Huns vs. Modern Hungarians
- Different Groups: The Huns were not the same people as the modern Magyars (Hungarians). The Huns ruled the area in the 5th century, while the Magyars arrived later, in the 9th century.
So what? This doesn't disprove my statement

So what? This doesn't disprove my statement
you stated two different things. The first thing was about language and now is origins which was what I was trying to say.
Modern day Bulgarians and Hungarians comes from Turkic genes. But because it was so long ago nowadays they might not classify as Turkish but that doesn't change the fact that they are Turkic.

36
u/the_woolfie Austria-Hungary Apr 02 '26
Hungary is still only an observer
20
u/bombaolay Apr 02 '26
Why do you think they're became observer lol.
21
u/the_woolfie Austria-Hungary Apr 02 '26
Some antrophologists and etymologists think that the origins of the Hungarian peoples and language is turkic and not uralic.
15
u/bombaolay Apr 02 '26
The fun fact is actually hungarians started the Turanist ideology.
12
u/Vedat9854 Apr 02 '26
This might surprise you more but its earliest champion (and founder?) was actually a Finn (Matthias Alexander Castrén)

We are more on the Uralic side as far as I know, but no doubt we have MANY Turkish loanwords. Also Mongols, Germans and some French.

Tajikistan isn't Turkic. But neither is Hungary or Kurdistan so idk what's going on here.
31
u/slysmile Apr 02 '26
Hungary
Ethnonationalists (on both sides, I think) believe the two nations descended from the Huns. This makes Hungarians Turkic of course /s
Kurdistan
No Kurdistan flag here tho, unless I'm mistaken.
3
u/Stukkoshomlokzat Apr 03 '26
Except Hungarian ethnonationalists don't think the Huns were Turkic. They have their own Sumer-Scythian-Hun bullshit theory. But apparently this is not a problem when both sides are so stupid that they belive the other party belives the same as they do.

u/Zealousideal_Cry_460 Apr 02 '26
Kosovo literally was founded in the exact same way lmao
2
u/EarlGreyKv Apr 03 '26
And there are countries that don’t recognise it. But it is much easier to go against Turks online so everyone jumps on that bandwagon anyway. No need to argue with those people with their Wikipedia links and shit, just ignore.

It's de facto independent
A lot of places in TRNC use GBP as a currency
-6
u/sergeant-baklava Apr 02 '26
In a world of puppet governments; why does that one bother you and not all the US puppets?
2

I hate muffins
Why don't you hate pie too??
The absolute state of redshit

Ah, yes “whataboutism”; Western chauvinism’s last bastion:
“Why do you always have to bring up our atrocities and indentured servitude of the developing world when we repeatedly attack you for your lack of economic and democratic development?”
Scratch the surface and it goes no deeper than a superiority complex that reduces any country that’s not part of your special club to a single issue region that’s inherently backwards.
Cry me a river

- Is it right to say this to all Turkic states?
- We don't care if you believe British propaganda
-1
u/CoolComment9012 Apr 03 '26
1- i was mostly referring to middle eastern turks and azeris, don’t know much about central asian turkic groups. 2- sure, if it makes you sleep better at night.
1
u/Longjumping-Bid-2212 Apr 03 '26
- Read about the Khojaly massacre and the Anatolian uprisings regarding Azeris and Anatolian Turks.
- I'd rather sleep than believe the propaganda.

azerbaijan and turkey are literally like twins. But other than that, most citizens of all Turkic countries have a positive attitude towards each other anyway.
