Looks like the wheat/seitan version of tvp, nice find!

It says textured soy protein in the description above the nutrition facts and just soybean oil in the ingredients. A lot of fat in it too, but hard to feel confident about accuracy

Agreed, I have my suspicions. However, other brands on MyFitnessPal are somewhat close in macros. Regarding the soy protein, they may use the same copy for all of their products. Mi cang typically refers to wheat gluten.

Where did you find this one? For a while, I was finding great vegan items from Taiwan at hmart but they disappeared after the idiot tariffs kicked in

I'm in Minneapolis. We have so many Asian markets and supermarkets. It's hit and miss. Some stores don't have any tofu some have tofu but not any dried bean curd or gluten products. I found these at a place called "Asian Direct Market" which I don't believe is a chain. I wish we had a H Mart!

it is wheat flour that is listed as the ingredient, along with soybean oil. Not the same as textured soy protein, more like wheat meat/seitan

Asian grocery stores are gems for things like this! So glad I live near a great one

Interesting. I’ll stick with good old Butler’s Soy Curls. That’s a lot of fat.
