Groups to make friends?
Hi all! I’m looking for any groups, clubs, or activities operating over the summer where I could meet more people and hopefully make some friends. I’m really into hiking, birdwatching, yoga, art, and pretty much anything outdoors or creative. I’d also love to learn pottery or try other art classes.
One thing I’ve struggled with is finding places for younger women (I am 21) that aren’t centered around church groups. I’m a bit more interested in meeting people who enjoy nature, creativity, art, or just getting outside and doing fun things together.
If anyone knows of clubs, classes, hiking groups, community events, or anything similar in the area, I’d really appreciate the recommendations. I can provide my Instagram to communicate if need be :)

Check out Crux Climbing in Northport. They have a very welcoming community and are even doing a hot yoga class on June 14th. there is probably more details about it on their instagram

Makerspace as already suggested, and classes at Kentuck Art Center (along with art nights, first fridays, and art markets!)

To warn you, Kentuck classes are so fun and worth every penny but for some reason every time I go I’m one of 2-3. I can’t believe more people don’t utilize them they rock

Ok not one of your listed interests but if you’re here for the summer i’d try out the line dance nights at Rhythm at least once. (it’s pretty much free!)
Also I have similar interests to you and didn’t think i’d like it at first but it’s super fun
