Is Steindalsbreen accessible in early to mid June?

Is the hike to Steindalsbreen accessible in early to mid June. Getting a lot of mixed views online about snowpack in June making the hike not easily doable. Reading that some say it is not bad and others saying to stay away until July?

I would say no.

Probably pretty wet up there now and not really doable as leisure activity. Wait until july.

In any case dont walk out on the glacier, as you might fall thru into deep cracks.
