Discussion 💬 To keep our minds off the leaks, what's the most absurd take you've ever heard on the show or fandom or whatever?
Here's Mine: Jax is the most mentally sane out of the cast and Pomni is the least. (this came from someone I showed episodes 1 to 8 to)

Same, I agree that she could have stood up more for the others, but she's definitely not enabling him, as she literally phrased him as "the villain".

This is a take that I have, and I have been told that it is a bit crazy, but I think Abel has served its purpose in the story, and we don’t need to see any more development with it.

Absolutely! The entire point of ep7 was to troll all the chronic theorists. Once the adventure ended, Abel's one job (to be a red herring) was complete. Plus, the circus is falling apart ahead of ep9. How could they even bring him back without Caine, and what could he possibly contribute to the finale?

All of the recent stuff about Pomni being a bird/enabler for Jax. That just doesn't make any sense to me, and completely contradicts what actually happens in the story.

I saw someone confidently assert that gooseworx was a pedophile yesterday, which was..... new. It wasn't even in a tadc subreddit or anything. I found that shit out in the wild.

Just every misinterpretation possible of Pomni and Jax's dynamic in Episode 6.
Pomni isn't an enabler, and all of the nonsense Jax says in his edgelord monologue isn't true because he's just trying to keep people out and push away anyone who tries to get closer to him.
Pomni is also the first person to truly call out Jax's behavior in a way that sticks with him unlike Ragatha or Zooble as well.
The "Pomni is a bad friend because of what she did in the pilot" thing also hurts my brain.

Controversial, but mine would have to be that everyone is/should be a main character/protag and not just pomni and Jax. I doubt it needs explaining how that much backstory and detail for everyone would devolve any sense of story progression to a grinding halt while everyone gets a monologue about their feelings on the giant ghost head of episode 3. Its ok to have side characters and to like them as much as main ones

the most absurd? that goosworx is racist just because she didnt do enough when the whole Tshirt thing with michael came out.
Absurd in the show? i would say: that one of the humans are actually an NPC, I dont think Jax, Ragathar, Pomni, Kinger, Zooble or Gangle are NPCs but instead are fully human, even if they dont have a body to return to anymore. you arent just limbs and legs. even your brain is just the medium you exist in.
to your point. jax and pomni are neither extreme.
Ragathar has problems with her mom and a need to please people. not really what i would say is insane
Gangle on the other hand has probably bipolar disorder or something of that sort. that definitely goes into mental insanity territory.
