Plant Help/Question First time!!

Joined this subreddit awhile back and loved all the designs and different builds so much that made me wanna try it myself. There’s 4 different types of mosses that I found in my area locally and the substrate as well. Let me know what you guys think thanks 🙏.

It looks nice.

If I may, maybe little less substrate next time. Especially if you are only using mosses. Also it looks bit dry from here.

Keep experimenting and good luck!

Ok thanks I wasn’t sure how much substrate to use.
The substrate is damp but not sure if the water should go into the false bottom or not?

I think good sing is, if there is some condensation on the glass during the day. Mine usually mist up in the morning for few hours and then in late evening.

Water in drainage layer - that depends on substrate you are using. If it's lighter, water should drop down and then wick up/evaporate as a cycle.

if substrate is denser, it will retain more moisture, it might not even drop to bottom.
