TD Bank screwed up my replacement card THREE times and now I’m stuck without access to my money. Teller literally hijacked my phone and didn’t even check my address
So I went into my local TD branch a month ago because my debit card was expiring and I needed a new one. Walk in, tell the teller what I need, and she hits me with “oh we don’t print cards at branches anymore.” Fine, whatever. I ask her to walk me through ordering it online because I’m not super techy with the app
Instead of showing me, this impatient lady just SNATCHES my phone out of my hand, does the whole thing herself without explaining a single step, hands it back, and says “you’re all set, 5-7 business days.” Didn’t confirm my address, didn’t ask me to double-check anything, nothing. Just “next customer please” and I’m dismissed like an idiot
Two weeks go by… no card. I call customer service. Rep tells me they had my address wrong. So they cancel the first card and order a second one with the “correct” address
Another week and a half… still nothing. Call again. This time they say “oh we updated your home address but not your mailing address.” So they cancel the second card and order a THIRD one
Now I’m on my third wait and I’m losing my mind. On top of that, I was able to add the first two (ghost) cards to Apple Wallet right away, but the third one won’t add. Called support and they basically shrugged and said “sorry, just keep waiting lol.”
I’m literally stuck. Can’t use Apple Pay, can’t get cash easily, and every time I call it feels like they’re playing hot potato with my card orders. Has anyone else dealt with this level of incompetence at TD? Is there a better way to escalate this or am I just doomed to keep refreshing my mailbox for another month?
This is ridiculous

This is why teachers urge students to look over their work before submitting it. Obviously I need to go back to school smh
