Help question for Mac

I recently installed tor, but I am looking to install tails. It appears that because my Mac has a chip, I guess it is supposed to pose a problem. Does anyone else have any recommendations?

What type of chip do you have—Intel or Apple? It matters because TAILS can’t run on Macs that use Apple’s chip.

I suggest going on eBay or Amazon and getting a cheap used Mac for it (or even going to BestBuy or Staples and getting a cheap laptop that runs Windows)

I wouldn't recommend a used Mac for Tails, even on Intel models the Wifi card isn't supported, and on the T2 models (2018-2020) the keyboard and trackpad don't even work IIRC. A used thinkpad or something would be much better.

Bought a used Asus from BestBuy last year (forget when), and it appears to be working fine
