Looking for... Where can I watch German movies with English subtitle?

Hi! I'm living in a small city nearby Stuttgart and I wonder where I can find German movies with English subtitle. From my city, only OmdU is possible but I really try the newest German movies in a theater. I heard that in some big cities have a theater providing English subtitle with original sounds (not dubbed) and are there places for that also in Stuttgart?

I guess the share of people that speak some German and a lot of English is too low in Germany to warrant public screenings of that nature around here.

You may find something like this in Berlin and definitely should do so in English speaking countries. But around here, I'm pretty sure you'll have to resort to home media formats for your regular fix.

you can watch any movie free and with a lot of subtitles on Lookmovie

No idea. Every time I see a German film, there is no option of subtitles. If you find something, let me know.

Corso kino in stuttgart vaihingen shows OmU movies - but not german ones afaik.

Ever heard of dvds? They all have a subtitle option for various languages. Maybe you find the necessary equipment at flea markets or ebay or even at media markt/saturn. Dvds also are really cheap also nowadays.
