Freshly Stuck Help!

So I did the line work for this with a 7rl.

I’m waiting for it to heal up a bit before doing more to it which I need to shade and add detail.

How do I add to it to make it look like the reference (3rd pic)

Looks cool! I let mine heal up before I do reinking/shading. It'll look worlds different once healed some. I use a 3rl for gentle stipples and I thin the ink a bit with water if I'm concerned it'll be too much pigment (can always add ink, but can't take it away). Enjoy !!

Okay that’s my plan I’m gonna use a 3rl for the fine details once what I have heals then I’m gonna use a 3rs to pack in the black out parts

Edit: after what I have rn settles for a week.

make sure it’s fully healed before reopening the wound! either immediately (1-2 days) or after healed (2-3 weeks) to avoid heightened infection risks
