Advice Flying with a baby
I will be flying about 4 hours with my son in July which he will be 7 months old by then. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on stuff to get for him and ways to make it easier on him. I have seen people flying with babies who say it was easy and some say it’s hard. So I fully understand it can be unpredictable so if anyone can recommend anything tip wise I would much appreciate it. I have no idea where to even start honestly.

One of my kids just sat/slept in my lap. The other liked being in the carrier on my chest for most of the ride. They were 4 months and 8 months (at different times).
I’d recommend a pacifier to suck for pressure changes or a bottle.

7 months old is usually a pretty good time to fly because baby isn't crawling (a lot) yet and is more content to sit in your lap.
Definitely nurse/have a bottle ready for take off and landing to help with pressure change.
If you've started solids by that point, I love the little freeze dried yogurt dots. Baby can practice pincer grasp and self feed one by one. They are not filling so it's really just an entertainment factor in my mind haha.
Ask yourself what kind of toys baby is into at that point. Are crinkle tag toys still a hit? Get a new one or two. I got these little monkeys with suction cups for hands/feet that baby could bat around on the window.
It's totally possible that if the timing is right, baby will nurse/eat to sleep and take a nice nap. I would go with it, even if you think it might mess up the schedule.
Good luck, you both can do this!
