Casual wedding South Wales

My fiancé and I are hoping to get married in 2027.
We don’t want a huge/expensive wedding and will likely just have a small family registry office ceremony and then hoping to invite around 50 guests to a wedding reception.

Any recommendations for restaurants/bars where we could have some good food, drinks and music in the South Wales are? We live in Monmouthshire and would like to stay fairly close.

TIA!

We used our local village hall and had a hog roast

Mine was at the old barn. They took care of everything and it was fantastic. Only issue is they are 60 guests minimum

Vittorios in Newport. We held our wedding breakfast there. They took excellent care of us.

You could always check out Caer Llan. If you're not having the ceremony there it might be cheaper.
