Who will fill the vacuum with him gone? That scares me.

Probably some random ANC guy. That very fact alone will damage the ANC even more. Their last decently popular member getting impeached and replaced by someone the ANC supporters don't like or know nearly as much might be what kills the ANC.
But imo, the GNU will do everything in their power to stop him from being impeached, or atleast delay it for as much as possible. Politicians are gonna be politicians.

People forget who jz's deputy was. The apprentice became the master.

Exactly. Zapiro was fawning over Cupcake before his first term began. As if he wasn't familiar with the ANC organisation as a whole.

I think a lot of us got caught up in ramaphoria. He was way too good at saying things people wanted to hear. Especially following jz.
I had respect for him because I saw one of his speeches at a school in the way back. I thought this guy might actually care.
Then 34 miners died at Marikana.

The man is all talk. He's screwed people over in business (Sam Molope) and been a BEE board member his whole life so ja, I knew nothing would change when it was his term/turn.

This isn't a good look for ol' cupcake. That being said, there's no suitable (or better) replacement for him yet - and that includes GHL, for those of you cumming at the prospect.

It's really weird this sentiment. That there's none better. Ramaphosa is basically proving himself to be just as corrupt as Zuma, but somehow he is still better? Corruption has only increased since Ramaphosa took over despite him saying he is going to fight corruption. We need to stop settling, and let politicians know that if they do bad, we will get rid of them.

"Just as corrupt as Zuma" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here and really just highlights how divorced from reality you guys are.

Cupcake has done nothing of substance after the Zondo commission (which we did not need, really) was concluded. So ja, I'd say he's just as corrupt.
